FAQs

How do I get started?

By placing a call to our office you will be able to set up an appointment with one of our staff members to visit your house. At this time we would evaluate your property, listen to your ideas, and give some ideas of our own for best shapes, sizes, and options to give you maximum use of your pool. We would also look to see if there are any issues for construction access at this time.

How long is the permit and construction process?

Most permits can be issued in 5 – 10 business days depending on the municipality.
Construction process can vary with the size of the project, but most jobs can be completed within 4 – 6 weeks.

Who will be supervising the construction of my swimming pool?

Bill Tolson, President and licensed contractor, will oversee all of the excavation and installation of the pool shell. Bob Holland, V/P and construction manager, will oversee the construction process from the pool shell installation to the completion of the pool. The owners of Anchor Pools and Spas are deeply involved in your construction project to assure your project is completed in a timely manner with an emphasis on quality control.

Will you teach me pool care?

Of course. Upon completion of your pool you will be given pool school. At this time you will learn how to operate and care for your pool. This includes learning how to turn valves, cleaning of filters, testing water, and anything else that is required to maintain the pool. If any questions arise after the pool school a simple call to our office can answer most questions.

What is the warranty on my pool?

The project is warranted 100% for the first year. In addition, the shell is warranted for life to the original owner against structural failure. The pool filtration equipment is warranted for 3 years parts and labor.

Who do I call if there is a problem after the pool is completed?

Regardless if the issue is warranty or a non warranty call, a call to Anchor Pools is all that is required for service. We have a service department that can address a majority of the problems that occur.
